The rest of the NFCS must be cracking up laughing at us right now.

Fucking piece of shit is terrible vs. run. Average vs. pass.

Are we going to convert him to fucking running back?

I did get a huge laugh out of ESPN and NFL Network both going to commercial before the Panthers pick, discussing it for 30 seconds after they came back, and then moving on.

After 20 years of it, with the exception of 2011, it's predictable alright.

I remember really liking the Davis pick back when, and the arguments about where he'd play etc. It took a while for him to develop, I can only hope Thompson turns out to have a similar arc. Without the ACLs.

Thompson isn't anywhere near as explosive or instinctive as Davis. He changes directions very well, which is nice, but it's less important when you're a step slow figuring out where to go it and don't have the first step burst to make up for it. But yeah, he's going to replace Colin Jones in the lineup. Clearly they fell in love with the idea of having a SS/LB hybrid.

Davis himself said ST was a better athlete than he was at that stage.

Of course Davis is going to say that.

When Davis was coming out of Georgia, he was known to be a thumper. He was feared. Shaq can't hit, and ranks among the fucking lowest of ALL linebackers stopping the run.

This was a crush pick, a reach, and again....AGAIN...we do nothing for our supposed "franchise quarterback's" safety.

I don't get how so many are smitten with Gettleman. He's been terrible here.

I for one strongly dislike Gettleman, that fat fuck.

Thompson's college highlights have far too much offense content. Lots of running with the ball. But I think the kid is a football player and have hopes, and was not excited at all with what was there.

For all we know, they tried to trade back and couldn't.

I doubt we tried to trade. Seemed like plenty of teams willing. They focused on him. I doubt it matters if Willie Roaf in his prime was there, those ******s honed in on one guy. Makes me sick.

Shaq himself thought he'd go second round, lmao. God fucking damn.
