Exactly. Way too many people on here bitching and moaning about our picks and getting rid of later picks. Gettleman's previous picks have seemed to be just fine for the most part, I'm sure these will be as well.

 

I can't decide if you post dumb things because you're incapable of posting anything else, or if you sometimes know that what you're saying is stupid and you post it strictly for trolling purposes.

This isn't even remotely close to being true. During the last two drafts with Gettleman, those of us on this board have pointed out better options that were available who went on to be much better than the players the Panthers actually chose. I think the only time Gettleman was correct and we were wrong was with Short, and it's not like he's been amazing.

I guess I'm OK with the first two picks, actually. I don't necessarily agree with either pick, but there was a profile they were looking for in each selection, so I can respect that. It's the later selections that sort of confound me. They don't make any god damn sense.

 

I missed what happened today. I doubt I'd have been real happy, haven't gone back and looked at who went when, who we passed on, etc. I am glad we at least got a RB. The guard, I guess they are cutting bait on Kugbila. Having to trade up seems like chasing it, they should have handled it without having to spend extra.

My biggest complaint was overpaying to draft Funchess. I guess it comes down to I am not that much of a Benjamin fan, drops way too many easy catches. So I didn't want two. They are probably right and I am not, we'll see.

Missing out on OT and seeing the currency we used for Funchess, that if we were gonna go on a spree, use it for the LOT.

 

Hopefully some other team will cut a player in camp that we can sign and hope

 

Not drafting a pure offensive tackle two straight years is reprehensible, given the state of that position on our roster. That's the one thing Gettleman has done that I can't possibly defend.
