The Charlotte Bobcats have signed free agent Chris Douglas-Roberts from the D-League and waived forward James Southerland, the team announced Wednesday.

Championship is on the way for da Cats.

I think its 3 losses in a row now, but they`ve all been competitive and I can live with that. I just don`t expect to see a 10 or 20 loss streak like I`ve seen in recent years.

Looks like the cats are going to be a .500 team this year and if so then I consider that a vast improvement.

Great game in Toronto with Kemba hitting a last second shot for the win in OT. Of course they had missed( Walker and Henderson) 4 straight foul shots to make it that close.

There has to be some Cats` records in this game somewhere.
They score 72 in the second half and outscored Detriot 41-17 in the 4th quarter. Down by 20 in the 2nd quarter they were looking slow, but got their second wind in the 4th.
    Wow.

the improvement would be if they don't blow the team up because they're not satisfied with "merely" making the playoffs.

I consider the MKG pick a bust. May be its too soon to say that, but that is the ugliest outside shot I`ve ever seen. Him, Gordon are two I wouldn`t miss.

in theory, you can teach things like jump shooting. but of course, some people just suck at being able to pick up those skills no matter how much you try to teach them.

frankly, this looks like another case of the bobcats having the first bad pick of the draft. one pick earlier and they land anthony davis.

of their top 5 picks, the bobcats history is this:
2004 - they picked okafor #2. dwight howard went #1.
2005 - they picked felton #5. chris paul with #4.
2006 - they picked morrison #3(!). lamarcus aldridge went #2 (granted bargnani went #1)
    2012 - mkg at #2 (davis goes #1)
2013 - zeller at #4. we'll see how this turns out...
