"Walker finished 12 of 20 from the field and knocked down four 3-pointers as the Bobcats snapped a seven-game losing streak to the Nets. The Bobcats nearly lost a 10-point lead with less than three minutes, but Walker hit two free throws with 6.1 seconds left to seal the win.

Walker said he's been spending more time in the gym working on his jump shot and it paid off getting back to the basics.

"Lately I have been taking a lot of off-balanced shots and making it tough for myself," Walker said."

    No shit.

Nothing like finally achieving mediocrity just in time for the best draft class in years.

well, they did start off last year with pretty similar results record-wise, but yeah, it does seem a bit premature.

then again, i'm sure they'd figure out a way to fuck up a high pick even in a stacked draft. might as well pick 15th if you're only gonna end up with a role-player.

if our pick is not top 10 then it goes to the bulls

but we get pistons as long as its 9 or higher

and trailblazers if its 13 or higher which looks likely the hot start they are off too

so we could end up with just one pick this year in the 20's kinda sucks

at this point i would be willing to move the protected picks to pick up something

i dunno. those protected picks lose protection and detroit certainly isn't looking to make a sudden impact in the standings. i suspect next year (2015), the cats end up with a top 5 pick from them (unless it's #1 in which case they keep it till the next year).
i agree the blazers are likely to play themselves out of their pick. hopefully the cats hold onto theirs.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Charlotte Bobcats owner Michael Jordan says his team will use purple and teal as its primary colors when it changes its name to the Hornets next season.

That's my guess. With the East being so shitty Charlotte would have won more games anyway, but they'll almost certainly play their way out of their own pick in this draft. Unbelievable.

We now know that the Heat haved signed away their souls to the devil after what Bosh pulled off against the Cats.

The Cats are certainly more fun to watch this year and all the young guys seem to try to please the coach. Clifford seems like an all business dude who doesn`t go to far outside the box on what he thinks will work.
So far I get the sense that the Cats have a chance for a win whenever they step onto the court.
I don`t think I`ve ever had that feeling.

One of the better games I`ve watched. Walker and Curry going at it, treating the game like bone between two hungry dogs.
    Great competition.
