yup. tore it down after getting tired of constantly losing in the first round. well, at least, doing it once. seemed like taking playoff births for granted to me.

so now they're knocking on the door of where they were like, what, 4 years ago? they've got 3 years of top lottery picks:

biyombo, walker, zeller, mkg.... only walker seems to be really having an impact and it's not like he's light years ahead of what dj augustin brought to the table.

they're definitely younger, but their best player is a vet they got thru free agency. it doesn't seem like this team is really poised for a deeper run than the other.

    was it really worth it?

No, not worth the last couple years of national embarrassment.

That's the bitch about the lottery. It unquestionably would have been worth it if Charlotte got Anthony Davis instead of MKG.

MKG sucks horribly. But then I wanted them to take Thomas Robinson and he hasn't turned out to be anything either

that's what people don't seem to acknowledge in the "okc plan". you can't really count on hitting home runs on every lotto pick you get.

I think the Cats would have settled for one.

So for the best draft in years Charlotte not only loses their own first round pick but doesn't get Detroit's. I hope the first round playoff exit was worth it.

It's a shame they couldn't at least tank to get Indiana in the first round.
