Star slipping to us would be the closest thing to getting that sort of disruptive player. I don't dislike Richardson, but I think he's pretty interchangeable with a guy like Dwan Edwards. Jonathan Jenkins has that Kris Jenkins big ass size thing going for him, but he's run down player and would be a massive reach at 14.

I'm getting down with the idea of taking Xavier Rhodes at 14, and then coming back and getting NT type in the 2nd. I think there will be a couple of those guys left on the board.

Getting a Kris Jenkins type who can stuff the run and motherfuck the pocket on passing plays is probably a pipe dream, but I'd settle for getting a sturdy, run down nose tackle. I think Frank Kearse is a good backup, but certainly don't trust him for 16 games. Too inconsistent.

I'm hoping trade down and get a third, and maybe still getting a good player in the 1st. Two weeks to go.

That would be fine with me.

I do think end/rush backer is on Gettleman's radar. If there's someone there at 14 who we like, I think he would go for it. I'm not crazy about that idea, but that did work out for him in NY. And you'd have a potential replacement for Hardy if we can't resign him (seems more likely after this offseason).

Yeah I don't think there's much that is off the table if the perceived talent gap is big enough.

From what I've read here and other sites and heard on nfl radio if nothing else it's a pretty deep draft for dbs and DTs . Rank those positions and draft best a available and stay near the phone if someone wants to step up a couple places to get someone they covet. Heck getting one of the 2 guards and then getting the best available DTs or CBS in the second and pick received would work

As noted, the only thing that would be hysterically bad (aside from QB, RB, or LB) would be drafting a WR. Anything else probably marries need with BPA. Defensive end isn't a need on the surface, but if we got a good player who could edge rush while kicking Hardy inside more often, that wouldn't be the worst thing in the world.

Vaccaro is another guy I wouldn't mind. Hopefully we do find a safety worth a fuck. Right now we're about four deep in dogshit.

I'd be really surprised if Williams was still there at #44. Most have him going late first or early second. I'm really frustrated with all the bad mocks this year. Even GBN has gotten bad. :( First they had a bunch of QBs in the top 10 and now after correcting that they put Tavon Austin up there.
