Upshaw is a big LB from Alabama. I like him, but there's just no place for him here with Anderson and Beason. I think magnus was suggesting Anderson moving to WLB, but I do not like him there.

I was starting with a rush player and working from there.

no one else that high. Still I was reaching a bit apparently, but Melvin Ingram from South Carolina does seem to be headed that way. He's shorter for a DE (6'2), has a bunch of moves, is raw, but has limited experience and got most of his sacks in bunches.

I've started to see Perry from USC, another LB type tweener, rated that high, but he's a guy I've been used to as a 2nd.

Whats the word on Josh Chapman from Alabama. 6'1" 310 DT. Somewhat undersized at 6'1", but seems like a great value if he lasts until our Round 2 pick.

DT is good value in the second round, but it sounds like the team isn't looking to add anyone there. They still obviously could if it's BPA.

Both could interest the Panthers. RT @gogamecocks Jeffery, Gilmore will enter NFL draft http://bit.ly/xx21dT

My 1A and 1B player to get would be Blackmon or Kirkpatrick although Blackmon probably won't be there but I hope Kirkpatrick will be. I really like Kirkpatrick just because one of his nicknames is "Swag".

    Love this from CBSsportsline.

I really don't like Coples. Seems to be sleepwalking out there most of the plays and don't like what I've read about his attitude though I do admit he's got the raw talent we could use on the D-line.

If my top two are gone I'd probably take Reiff or Martin. Reiff has experience all over the line so Otah is healthy we can still play him or Otah at guard. Or we could cut Otah and move gross to the right side. Whatever. We have options.

Other than that you're left with linebackers who are tweeners or don't fit our scheme or a DT and from what Rivera has said we're ok at that spot.
