It can be fun, but I can't remember the last time it ever influenced my opinion on anyone. Mostly I just have to combat the hype or criticism those results generate among writers and fans.

Good point. As noted, I think that's a pretty big deal.

I wonder what the dollar value of that flip is...i.e. what the winning bid would be if Carolina / Miami had a bidding contest to settle who got the 8th spot.

could be huge, especially if Mia is still in need of a QB. Might allow us to trade down with a team (Sea?) wanting to jump in front of them if Tannehill is still there. otherwise, we are looking at Brockers and betting big on potential (and that's a lot of money to be betting on potential but I can't see anything else that makes sense at this point). moving down 4-5 spots to a position where DTs or CBs available this year have a better value i think would be good if we can find a team to trade with.

Tannehill is not going in the top 10. I don't know why people are mentioning this.

Tannehill looks as good to me as Gabbert and Locker did to me last year. In some ways better. He may not be a top ten player but QBs are so important would it be a shocker to see him drafted in top 10? I think he's good enough that he's gonna go higher than where he'd get slotted on a board.

What are you thoughts on him? To me, he looks to have a very quick release. Reminds me somewhat of Rivers. Big, strong guy with better mobility. Not as skiddish as Gabbert was. I think he'll do well in the NFL.

I'm glad were not having to discuss whether we'd want him or not.
