The way this game is going, the Backstreet Boys should have changed their first song from "Incomplete" to "Intercepted".

I don't think he'd have tried that in a game that counted.

Ditto on Coach Fox going for the TD on 4th down at the end of the half or Julius jumping 15 feet into the air on a pump fake.

Edit: Or Smith lateralling on that return.

We're what, two million under the cap with about 20 roster spots left to fill? I also think that limiting the first year cap hit to $2.5 mil or under is pretty optimistic. The base will undoubtedly be as small as can be, but Alexander is going to want a hefty signing bonus. It's hard for me to see that ending up under $3 mil at least, but it is possible if we don't break the bank. That said, I honestly don't see a way that we can even consider bringing him in because of our cap situation. He's not going to take less to sign here, that's for sure, and that would be pretty much our only chance.

Our quarterback gives up the ball absolutely every time that fucker is touched. Its to the point of where hes far worse than Hutchison ever was for Dallas, and he got cut for it.

He had both hands on it and a 300 pound guy took it away from him. I'd venture to say Casey Hampton is stronger than him (or any other QB out there, for that matter).

Both offenses are blowing in this game. I'll grant it's nearly impossible to get any chemistry on an offense with a bunch of guys thrown together, and it doesn't make it any easier when you're switching personnel mid-game. Still, I get the impression neither side exactly busted their butts this week.

    (and honestly, why should they?)

Yeah, Im not saying he could have prevented that one, just noting that it happens seemingly almost all the time.

But Im still a Delhomme mark, I cant help it. Im hoping he puts a score on the board soon, to offset that turnover.

Jake still likes the #89 even if it's not Smith - can we figure some way to number all our guys 89? 89-A, 89-B, 89-C :ylsuper:
