Golf team wins 2 of 4 fall tournaments, 2nd at Michigan and 5th at Duke. GolfWeek's Sagarin Performance Index has the 49ers ranked #23 and Golfstat lists Charlotte at #25 in its head-to-head standing of over 240 Division I teams.

Men's cross country team wins the Charlotte Relays at McAlpine Park and finishes 2nd at Clemson Invitational. They finish 3rd behind Duquesne and LaSalle at the Atlantic 10 Championships. Nick Sunseri and Adu Dentamo are named to the A-10 all-conference team.

Women's cross county team also wins the Charlotte Relays and finishes 2nd at Clemson. With 3 runners in the top 15 at the Atlantic 10 Championships, the 49ers get a 2nd place finish over Richmond by one point with Duquesne taking the tropy. Cassie Ficken, Tsehaye Dagnachew and Aja Jackson are A-10 all-conference members. Jackson wins the most outstanding rookie award.
