Add Suggs, I guess, to that list.

Offensive line will be fine. Get Munoz back for the left side, and we got Herrara at guard who is highly touted. The other spots guys are returning, and we have depth. We are good here.

We'll be fine at DE. DT will be a problem. We'll be talented, but young. It will be time for Javis and Smith to step up. If not, they'll be cahllanged by some huge youngsters.

And the best part, that punk Mathews won't be back.

He was pissed that Clausen beat him out, him being the local kid who was supposed to make good. So he had Daddy going to the press telling everyone how mean Phil was. Then when he quit, his dad had a press conference telling everyone how his son only went to TN over Auburn as a favor, that he was guaranteed to start at Auburn, that his boy would have broke all the records and outperformed Casey (who has lost two games in 20 starts).

Tom, you suck. You bombed everytime you played a game, even the orange-white.

I wasn't really trying to start a topic about next years draft, was just trying to gauge if not selecting a rb this year would be a mistake or if a better class is coming out next year.

Personally I think the way to go is to drop Staley into the lineup as one half of our running game and then give Huntley a year to earn the other half.

Huntley has earned the right to be the starter, he simply needs to compete for the position. I don't think we'll be bad with what we have now and the addition of a FA.
Staley, Allen and Hicks would be the three guys I'd be looking at. I really like Allen as a compliment to Huntley and he should be fairly cheap.
I don't see RB as a need this year, but an area that we could improve upon if someone falls to day two of the draft. Maybe even in the third if someone were to fall there.
I really like Verron Haynes out of Georgia, but have dangled him on numerous threads and no one seems to have an opinion...good or bad?

I didn't watch him and he's only been around for a little while as a prospect so I could only parrot what my favorite site would say.

I can get behind Staley and perhaps Hicks. Just say no to Allen, I think he's going to hang it up anyway. Same type of squatty back, only out of gas.

No, I don't like Vernon at all as a back. Fullback, tailback, or back in prison. I do not like Vernon Haynes.

I actually doubt he'll be drafted. Charachter questions, inconsistent, no great measurables. What exactly do you like, McFly.

Browns - trading for JJ Johnson

So I'm assuming the Browns won't want to look RB at their first round pick. A lot of sites had the Browns being the first to take a back at 16. I've seen some with Atlanta choosing a back. Thoughts?

Philadelphia...are they set in this Buckhalter thing? they're at 26.

Safe to assume that the Saints already have their answer and that the Dolphins are now unable to pick in the round. Not inconceivable that the Texans could pick a back.

Then again, unless Dallas/Atlanta takes one in round two, I don't see many spots for a back to go in the second at this value. Jacksonville might want one, but can they afford to, when they have D needs to be dealt with like crazy? My only hope is that they take Al Harper because I don't think he'll be that good.
