Hmmmmmmmmmm, can anyone on the West Coast elaborate on this story some more? I've read quite a bit about Pastor Chuck Smith & his Calvary Chapels. He pretty much started the JESUS MOVEMENT out on the West Coast back in the late 60's/early 1970's (he & his wife began preaching to the drug taking hippies back in those days, turning them into Jesus Lovers). Apparently, he's been burned supporting a fellow Calvary Pastor (Mike Kestler) who he went into the radio business with (who made some stupid sexual advances against a female member of his church, an ex Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader named Lori Pollitt). Pastor Chuck now is about ready to settle the ensuing legal mess between him and this other pastor by blowing up the radio network they've built together over the years, which is a shame !!!!!! I'm surprised this hasn't become a bigger story nationally (not yet at least).

PS: I pass a Calavry Chapel Affiliated Church (Horizon) on the way to work every morning down here in SW Charlotte. I will assume they have some other churches here in the Charlotte area.
