At some point during the 1-15 season I stopped caring if we won because I hoped that we would get a new coach if we lost enough. I was still mad about Bline getting cut then though.

I am nowhere near that place with Fox.

Well when we find out we gave up a top 6 pick for Everette Brown, the shit will really hit the fan.

Brown might turn out to be the real deal. He has looked decent in a limited role. Once Peppers is playing for the Pats next season we will need Brown.

What you are talking about is a personnel decision not a coaching one. If you think Hurney should go and be replaced by a better personnel man then I could get on board with that.

Or they could just stick to Charles Johnson and still have a high pick grab to an impact player or trade down from.

Brown is going to be a much better pass rusher than Johnson. I see him and Brown as our bookends in the future. We will either trade Peppers for some high draft picks or let him walk and use his salary to help the team. Either way we can improve in the offseason.

He's going to have to go some to be worth a high 1st. It was a desperation move, a hedge against Peppers not playing. IMO.

have to quit giving the ball away like there's no tomorrow. it's crazy simple. there's not a team on our schedule that can't be knocked off, but we aren't beating anyone (except the two unlucky losers so far) turning it over multiple times a game for touchdowns and short fields. i'd rather have the injury bug and fight through that with no-names and never-weres than keep killing ourselves with interception fever and fumblitis.

I guess this thread was a moot point since we are 3-4 now....

We needed help at rushing the QB. He was rated as a mid to late first pick. I think he'll be worth that. We all know Fox will let the young ones sit, learn and get hungry before he hands over the reigns.
