He went to the Coach K school of anger management.

And paid for it with his Coach K American Express card.

And 4 more than your beloved team.

If only that 98 team had gotten past that second round, they had an open road to the final four. Damnit.

I forget who they lost to...

The original subject was the NBA, Hornets and Celtics. Wow, you're observant, I'm a Niner fan. We lost to the Tar Heels in the 1998 tourney, since you forgot.

Do you drive to Asheville to watch Kris Lang and Joseph Forte in the D-league? Worst Celtics draft pick ever, even worse than Len Bias.

id probably trade in for 16 rings too, but you cant deny that you wouldnt feel an attachment to a team and moment when they finally "arrived", especially when you watched them from the (sucky) beginning...

If I remember the year you were talking about I think they lost to BC. I might be confused with them beating BC when they were an 8 or 9 seed though. Can't remember.

That game did kick ass. If they had kept that team together instead of letting Gill and Mourning leave then they might still be in Charlotte.

Second round of the playoffs, lose 4-1 to the Knicks? Damn, they really barged the door down with that "arrival".

YOu're still waiting for Derrick Phelps to "arrive", aren't you?
