    It's official through ESPN.....The 1982 National Champions were voted as ESPN's top team by the fans and beat some pretty stiff competition, such as, the 1974 N.C. State Wolfpack (National Champions), 1984 Georgetown Hoyas (National Champions), and in the final...the 1976 Indiana Hoosiers (32-0, National Champions).

    Hell, I don't think they're even close to the best all-time, at least if you're looking at how they played in college as opposed to the NBA.

    yep, i believe you are correct. dean just got lucky b/c we all know he can't coach. wonder how in the world he actually made it to the title game those 2 years....it must have been a national conspiracy to let dean get his.

    your basketball knowledge is so far ahead of everyone on this site, it's a wonder you still post here.

    handed to them would be that UNC was losing the game when the other team fucked up at the end giving UNC a chance to go ahead.

    In both games UNC made the plays/shots they had to make to take the lead when it counted, thus WINNING the games.
