    JACK DANIEL "SUSPENDED" INDEFINITELY DUE TO FLAGRANT LEGAL INFRACTION!

    (Charlotte, NC) October 21, 2008

    After an "On-Air" defiance of an alleged "Cease & Desist" over the new AC/DC cd "Black Ice", WEND afternoon host and Program Director, Jack Daniel has been removed from the air until the matter can be resolved. WEND acquired a full copy of The CD "Black Ice" and posted it for listeners to hear in advance of buying at Walmart (an exclusive retailer of the new CD). Sources say that the CD was purchased legally by Mr. Daniel, but he was un-authorized to offer it in it's entirety to WEND listeners. Sources have agreed to leave the CD on the station's website for now, but "his on-air disregard for our legal system in matters like this can't be ignored."

    DZL will fill The Lounge time slot until the matter is fully resolved.
