Any other QB's in the league buying tickets for fans? If he's getting lower level, they are going for about $500 ea... wonder if he plans on donating $25,000 a game for the rest of the home games? He might start bringing fans on the road too

Can't say I hate what he's putting down.

I hope they all get back to giving balls to kids when they score.

putting this here instead of starting a new thread... I'm curious what does everything think now that we've seen Cam play a full game.

I thought his arm looked great. He can still put the heat on it. Plus I think he's improved a lot in his accuracy. I really like his footwork, getting set and stepping into his throws. Overall I think his mechanics has improved tremendously.

I like the veteran QB Cam Newton. One play he had nothing and just went down and took the sack. That was all he had.

Plus he can still tuck the ball and take-off. This last game I know he was feeling the weight of the team on his shoulders but I thought he handled it well. He's not in midseason form yet either. Once he gets all the jitters out and knocks all the rust off, I still like our chances no doubt.

But we're going to have to score more often. The offense is the only way we're going to be able to take the run away from opposing teams.

Re Cam yesterday... Didn't seem like there was much old school play action and chuck it deep stuff. Gotta trust the tackles to hold up on that after you've got a run game kind of going.

Def had some heat. Don't know if he can throw deep, but "they" didn't try. I've always felt Cam makes his teammates want to fight for him.

I think they just wanted to beat the shit out of Sam.

I can tell you 11 is grinning ear to ear.

Everything aside from 3rd and 4th down was pretty damn good.

Unfortunately, 3rd and 4th down was horrible. 3 of 12 combined. He needs to nail a couple more conversations there if this formula is going to work. It doesn't need to be awesome. It just can't be 25%.

On 3rd or 4th and 2 or 3, why they continue to run pass plays where three or four go 11 yds downfield and tends to take a coupla secs to develop, seems to be a flaw and reason for such a low %. That an not checking to something different with 11 in the box and then trying an obvious sneak or run up the middle with the weak oline usually results in 4th or downs.

Nobody blocks worth a fuck on most screens either.

I doubt it matters who's playing quarterback behind a 3rd string offensive line that was bad to begin with.

If you have a better idea, we're all ears. Should the offense take a knee every play and hope Frankie Luvu can score points every week?

    Wildcat? Single wing?

    What's the alternative?
