    Well that is a bit of an issue. Rich getting richer. Kind of like society these days.

    I think the way it was sold was that there would be more cash for vets, with the rookies slotted and capped. Fewer guys being cap casualties, etc. But it's not turning out that way.

    Doesn't pay to be a 4th year player that's a backup or special teamer. The vet minimum for them makes it more attractive to just waive them and get a rookie you can pay half to do the same gig

    Hardy already did that by not holding out this season. His contract is over.

    Understood....just wishing he thinks Charlotte is special and he's willing to sign for less here than what he can make elsewhere. Doubtful...but I'm still hopeful. Gonna have to be a lot of other contract restructuring for us to keep our core group.

    Does anyone think Charlotte is special? I get what you mean but I don't begrudge a guy who has made very little money by NFL standards going out and getting everything he can. If Hardy leaves, we'll survive. I really doubt that Cam gives a hometown discount either. He'll probably end up being the highest paid player.

    this guy is a special player. ?B Callhim elite or not elite, or whatever. I am watching these games and I see a guy who makes plays that shouldn't be made. I'm glad we drafted him.
