"I'm that lion, and the house that I'm in is somewhat of a tarnished house where losing is accepted, you know. But I'm trying to change that, whether I have to change that house into a safari or I'm just gonna have to get out that house.

Now I'm not saying ... Hear me out, what I'm saying now. I'm not saying I'm trying to, to, to leave this place. I'm just trying to get everybody on my level.
    "

Way to go, dumbass. Not only did you throw your teammates under the bus, but you talked about leaving Carolina. Fucking egotistical retard.

Eh, for a 22 year old rookie being interviewed by someone trying to bait him into saying something controversial, it could have been a lot worse.

He wasn't baited at all. This was the question he was asked: "What are the emotions after a game when you've played really well but your team did not win?" Cam chose that point to say that the Panthers accept losing, and that his teammates either need to step up to "his level" or else he'll leave the franchise.

That was pretty bad really. Get ready for a ton of BS when contract time comes up, if not before.

yeah, only terrible part, once i've kinda ciphered the 'culture' out, is threatening to leave. that was baby-fied. would feel better if he stuck his heels in the dirt and said we're changing the culture in carolina - period. its affected my fandom.

He's kinda shitty with words. I think what he meant was he'd have to tear it down and build another kinda metaphor. Stop being used to losing, basically, get out of the losing mentality and create a new mentality.

That's what I got from it.

Of course - I have a happy ass full of the cammy cam juice. So.

People over analyze each word or statement spoken by a person, who was scrutinized by the national media, he was just trying to say I want to win and I want everyone else want to win as much as me. The kid wants to win that is all. smh
