    His suck potential is high. I am hoping he surprises and does well and the Panthers NEVER draft #1 again

    I'm 100% convinced it was a P.R. decision. The top pick was going to get huge money regardless, although a QB would get the most.

    Does this change accentuate the power that the agents had on the game? That they were a negative influence? At least as far are the process of dealing with draft picks goes.

    I'm glad that the owners and players agree to reel in the money going out to unproven players. Make them stay focused so that they will have to earn their way. That should help them mature and make them better assets to the league.
