Do you really turn down the TD in that situation? I understand if you're ahead, like Bryan Westbrook a few years ago. It would have looked absolutely awful had they botched the FG or had it been blocked.

There was no fucking reason for us to have to kick a late field goal to beat the bucs. But we won, so **** it. If the same Miami team shows up from that game and the Panthers play like they did against the falcons, we're fucked royally.

The fumble that Jason Taylor recovered wasn't even a fumble, so miami dumblucked into the win, but I'll take it.

there are actually a few 3-4 guys out there at OLB - I mean not fantastic, but Jason Taylor, Kampmann (where the **** does he really fit?) Banta-Cain, Okeafor. Still, a terrible idea.

I saw the Czarnecki thing. I thought it was a dumb rumor to start with and Fox barely even took time to dismiss it. I'm Ok with it, but really - Crossman goes.

Jarrett could start next year, and Moose could still be around. There, like most places, there's actually not a ton of places to see change, if they want to keep Davis and Peppers. Even if we dump a DT or two it's hard for us not to have mostly incumbents - so many guys we have money or picks into.

Brown could be a 3-4 guy, he does seem aware. Dunno...now's not the best time to eval him, he's only a rush guy now.

Just to add one more thing, I might be one of the few that really believes we won't go uncapped next yr, much as it might help Carolina.

There are literally no WRs out there in FA next year. We'll start someone who's on this team now. I think it's kinda funny that Sherrod Martin is two years older than Charles Johnson and Jarrett. That's just weird.

At this point, other than getting Zimmer who's a FA and might want to run out of Cincy to a high pay day/run from his wife's untimely demise, Meeks may be our best option, especially with a young head coach. Dungy is being stated as not coming back by any means, and thinking about his Vick thing, it doesn't sound like the type thing a prospective head coach would do. Cowher is also rumored to have nothing to do with next year.

I really just don't see us going 3-4 without Cowher specifically, or maybe Phillips (at 6-3 they're primed for a collapse...man it was fun watching Dallas take it in the ass). And then you'd literally have to go get Casey Hampton on the guise that they think he's too old. Which is their MO. I literally see no other way that works - people will probably start thinking GB's 3-4 is great now that they beat Dallas. And they'll be wrong.

I think it's odd that you can essentially catch a ball with the ground now, but if you make a perfectly honest catch and the ball comes out after you hit the ground, it's no good.
