Some of the shock and awe wears off with an offseason to study it. So long as we don't get caught up in it I'm fine, let some other poor sucker try to making something more from college guys good for a handful of plays a game.

It's easier for the local papers and national guys to sell teams that try to build through big sweeping moves.

      Gailey+Thigpen=Pistol
      Pistol+panthers run game=unstoppable O
Throw a Cowher defense in with that and we might not choke away the championship at home.

I don't hold the Redskins wanting an upgrade against Campbell, their owner wants a superstar Campbell is not one he wants to try something else. He' literally one of those fans running a team, but most fans don't own a graffiti magnet/occupant amputation center.

yeah people seem to think Cowher wouldn't take advantage of the honeymoon to remove everything on D that wasn't nailed down, but him being a coach that never made mistakes I doubt they complain that much.

I guess in all the hero worshipping and jake scapegoating of wanting moore people forgot the whispers about him not being 100% committed.

Maybe Rip can develop some QBs but it's just not our MO, which is why I can live with Campbell for a few years, and I'm not behind the idea that we bring him in just to hold the seat until we can find a QB by going all Gruden and drafting 10 or 20 of them.

It was fine the alternatives were two guys with back problems, but the last two preseason's should tell us that he isn't ready for prime time, or even the morning slots where they hide sitcoms on their last legs of syndication.

Mags, someone told me football started. I was worried you had died but they said you're in football forum. Sometimes can you come out of there?

I like how your first suggestion in your offense thread is more TE, it's just anything to hype him isn't it?
