your right because i have an opinion im an old fuckin goober i am probly younger than you think i am and as far as other things in the world that is a matter of opinion

 

Randomsoleil, I do agree with you that the hat should be worn the way it is supposed to be worn (facing straight forward), but for a different reason. I just think that you should have a respect for the game, and wearing your hat the way it was meant to be worn shows a respect for the game. HOWEVER, I do not think that Sabathia or Pokey Reese are thugs simply because they wear their hat sideways, in fact I have heard that Reese is a very nice and repectable guy.

So, NO these guys are not thugs, but I do think that it comes down to having respect for the game. That means playing it they way it was always meant to be played, and wearing your uniform with pride, the way it was meant to be worn.

By the way, I am only 19 years old. I have been playing baseball sice I was old enough to throw and catch, and I have always respected the game, and have always thought that your uniform, even though it may seem trivial, plays a big part in that.

 

maybe you should share this with the guys below. ruth, williams, shoeless joe jackson, and cy young.

calm down, dont have a heart attack. personally i dont care if these few guys wear their hats the way i wear mine, i simply said that they SHOULD wear it facing forward, they certainly dont HAVE to. and they are by no means "thugs." pokey reese is one of my favorite players, and he wears his hat so crooked you can barely see his right eye. i honestly dont feel ANY negative feelings towards the guys that wear their hats crooked, i just dont really agree with it. nothing to get too upset about however.

geez thugs and beisbol have always gone together, hell they drove mantle nuts in new york when he took over for the clipper, and piersol and williams got beer bottle thrown at them at fenway, thats why gansett was only served in paper cups during the 60's. lighten up already this take your kids to the park shit is purely from the movies, sure you took them and the got an education in human behavior while they were there.
