    Maybe kinda boring for the rest of you, but kinda cool for us :)

    This particular shot is of the new pads in left field at Turner Field. The pads in left and center field have graphics depicting players whose jerseys have been retired by the Braves - and during the second game, Phil Niekro's face was ripped off when a player ran up the fence trying to catch a ball. Poor Phil. At least it wasn't Hank Aaron.

    Not sure the Dodgers were the first, but they did theirs last season. I think the Angels may have had something similar prior to then. I recently quoted some graphics to the Durham Bulls for all of their retired numbers, too - a grand total of one - Joe Morgan.
