that the 49ers were the last opponent to defeat #20 Southern Illinois (RPI #18), 64-59 in Carbondale, IL way back on January 2? That ended a 38-home game winning streak. The Salukis are 22-2 with 14 consecutive wins and have already clinced the Missouri Valley Conference, leading by 4 games with 3 games still to play.

In some ways, Southern Illinois could wind up being our biggest win of the year. Who would have "thunk" it?

    OMG...I didn't know what a Saluki was. Now I wish I didn't. I'd be ashamed.

So basically Mitch ran the point in our 2 biggest victories, Southern Illinois and Louisville. Go figure.

Pi, myself and friends were watching the SIU-Hawaii game Saturday night while playing darts. They play some hellacious defense, and that crowd was ready for their national TV Bracket Buster Saturday game.

The students rushed the court at 2am. Now that's a crowd heavily influenced by alcohol. I couldn't imagine if we had tipped off against UL or Cincy at midnight. We would need a cop for every 20 people.
