I ran up a $120.00 tab at BW3's in Chapel Hill, I'velost my voice, and I twisted my ankle when I fell off the table after the Prohel TD. But Delhomme showed me that he was the future of this team, so I'm happy. And drunk. Jake rocks.

The Panthers NEVER NEVER quit - Del HOME ( dumass fucking Marino may figure it out in his lifetime  ) is da man.

This team is going to be primed to kick ass again next year - Fox and Hurney are going to make them even better - wait and see.

I don't see another team in the NFC as ready to go again like the Panthers are.

    This one was rough

But I'm proud. A lesser team would have folded.

I was nervous at first. It just looked like we were tense at first. Everyone. No one was yelling. Everyone looked uptight. The fumble hurt.

Defense played pretty well first half. Brady gets rid of the damn ball at the last second, just as he gets blased, and its a good throw. But I'd been ok with a 7-0 half.

Once that happened, we did get a couple of first downs, and Jake started getting into a rhythem. Balls started to find thier mark more, instead of guys reaching back and behind. Not perfect, but a little better with each throw. Then a perfect throw to Smith, and he never looked back.

When I saw us leave for half, though down 14-10, I thought we'd win. We looked like the more excited team. That first drive, Prohel dropped one. Moose had that hit that looked like a fumble.

Then the D started to tire, and I had a sinking feeling. But Jake kept getting us back in it. Foster ran over and through people. Our recievers, all of them, made big plays. We were a different team. A team that can come back.

And we did. I thought for sure we'd win in OT.

That sinking feeling didn't return until Kasay kicked it out of bounds. But we still had opportunities to play. Brady made an unbelievable throw to set up third and three, between two defenders, and then I don't know why Minter was giving so much room. Fuck.

These were the best two teams in the league, we just happened to be on the short end of the stick today. It's sickening because we had opportunities to win. Bur Brady is good, give him credit. But Jake matched him play for play, until time just ran out.

I'm proud. We got a QB.

I hope you're right. This week I'm going to look at all the NFC competition and try to figure out who might stand in our way next season. If we re-sign the right guys, get a solid shutdown corner and get our best defensive player (Fields) back in playing form then I can't imagine that we wouldn't be even better next year.)

I remember that 1-15 season as if it was yesterday, every loss. That season was not as hard as tonight was. It goes to the saying better to loved and lost than never to have loved at all. While the loss sure as hell hurts like anything you will ever feel, the memories of this season will last a lifetime. I have never been more proud of our boys, they left it all out on the field tonight, and God willing they will do it again next season.

I gotta hit the hay but I just wanted to bump some positive sentiment back up top before retiring.

How many here would have bought and paid for a 14-6 season with a last second 3 point loss in super bowl XXXVIII back in July of 2003? :D

I'd like to officially state my Panther Pride too guys.

a hell of a lot better tha 1-15, huh? proud as a peacock. we really need to diversify the offense, but yes, our qb has been found. i hope that marino, and especially sims' surgery won't hurt too bad. you know, the procedure to have themselve removed from brady's rectum? brady must have given the cbs announcers hellacious head all week. i'm glad the game was over so they would finally shut-up. GO PANTHERS!!!

Losing hurt, but this team didn't quit until there was no time left to fight. More time on the clock, a few plays go a bit differently we might be celebrating a win today. This team has so much heart it's unreal. I don't think they'll collapse next season. Once they can move beyond the loss (and there are 30 teams who would still rather be in our spot today) this is a team that will fight back. There's not a quitter on the roster. We all knew we still had holes to fill on the team, how many of us EXPECTED to be where we are today THIS YEAR? I was HOPING to make the playoffs but thought to go deep into them was a year, maybe two away. I'm disappointed that we lost, but am prouder then hell of these guys. I can't wait until camp starts again!
