I haven't seen anyone post anything about this place before, in reference to watching games. It is on 29 about 1/2 mile South of the 29/Harris intersection.

It has a huge bar (with big screens & big TVs everywhere), great service (some pretty hot waitresses), excellent food and $2.25 for 23 oz. draft! It reminds me alot of Fox & Hound in Winston.

I know this should be on the Food Forum, but there is not one anymore.

Al, was this the place that brews it's own? I ate there and had a couple of pints last night. Good food, but bar closed at midnight. This place was on Harris though, not on 29.

Not sure where you are talking about Austin. The ALE House is about a block from Twin Peaks if that helps your point of reference.

Were you still runnin' when the girl that got her jersey retired got to Charlotte. She was pretty bad ass. Glad to see her get some recognition. Whatever happened to Katie and Meagan? They were pretty strong runners for Charlotte back in the day.

I believe you're thinking about Hops.

TF, I was thinking about Hops. Thanks. Great food, not so great beer, but it was OK.

Al, I believe I was a senior when Molly came in, but bone fractures prevented me from running cross country that semester. I'm good friends with Katie, and she was there this weekend of course. She is 7 months pregnant with her 2nd. Meagan I was unable to get a hold of for the reunion, and haven't heard her status.

Ale House is a pretty cool jernt. I ususally sprint there at 1:15 right before last food call so I don't have to eat waffle house or Jack in the box.
