And we don’t know how to finish a game yet. I hope both improve and improve quickly this year. We’re not good enough to play only 20 minutes out of 40.

We came out fired up against Syracuse and look what happened. We decided this game didn't matter until about 15 minutes in, and by that point, it was too late.

I don't know how you beat Cuse and come out flat. Shooting was horrific in the first half...

This is typical Charlotte under Lutz. We just don't come out fired up. Again we spotted a decent team 15 points on their home floor. You just can’t do that and expect to win.

one thing I've learned about Lutz' teams is that only in the last 10 games can they focus consistently. They are emotional rollercoasters getting up for big games and being stagnant the next night against ordinary opponents (yes Alabama is ordinary and very young to our elder team). It lost the game for them last night and sapped the energy out of them to come back from 15 down. Withers and Clemmons were invisible.

    Where is CJ Pigford?

Do you mean this game or all season?

I thought he was supposed to be a good slasher. So far we haven’t seen that. Some good moves to the basket to open up our three point shooters is just what this offense needs.

We also need to start working the offense from inside out instead of outside in. Withers, Clemmons, and Iti start hitting enough that will free up our shooters as well. No need for off balance three when you have guys that can score consistently inside.

Pretty easily actually. 20k+ screaming fans at the Cuse. Rows and rows of empty seats at BOMA.

Not saying it's ok, but it's obvious. Remember that Tulane game when Rodney was here. There were at least 10 people in the New Orleans Coliseum. What a great hoops environment. :(

I would normally agree, but our inside guys were terrible in the first half. How many turnovers and missed shots do we allow before switching gears?

It doesn't necessarily have to be our inside guys. Demon driving to the basket was pretty effective against Bama.
