Barry, you're my boy and all, BUT, Damn, we beat the defending big dick. We beat GW by ten if Withers is on the court (easy). Plavich ain't gonna hit ten threes every night and we are probably gonna lose some we shouldn't.

Why can't you and some others just fucking enjoy it. Damn it, am I going to have to get Shane to head butt you????

Also, to whom else it concerns, Syracuse doesn't beat us 8 or 9 out of ten. They ain't that fucking much better than us. BTW, can we play them at home five out the next nine?

    Hootie, you're the man.

I think coach mentioned something on the post game show about getting Withers more touches.

I still want to see Plavich occasionally pass the ball. Had ITI wide open under the basket (shot a 3 and made it so nobody cares). He should be able to get 3 or 4 assists per game.

    Not worried. Here's why:

Plavich won't hit 10 / 13 3pters every game, but Demon won't be stinking up the court forever either. He's bound to get hot sooner or later.

Butter will always do something stupid, but not as often.

Iti is just going to keep getting better every game.

Sager won't get mono again. If Demon and Plav are off, he'll hit. I bet he is the most consistant %-wise.

It took the effective absense of the following players for GW to BARELY beat us:

    Curtis Withers
    Martin Iti
    Demon Brown
    Brendan Plavich

    That's not a quorum.

I did enjoy it, it's over, let's move on. What fun is it to sit here and pat ourselves on the back? That's probably exactly what Coach is telling the team. We stole one at Syracuse and we still haven't guarded anybody. That's what I see. If my posts piss on your dream parade, don't read them. There is plenty of people on the other board, that will tell you we are the best team in the nation. Go lap some of that up with them.

I talked to Little Tip yesterday and he still thinks we are barely better than last year. Call and fuss with him and leave me alone.

Syracuse will be damn good again this year. We play this game in January they run us by at least 20. That have two guys that could be NPOY.

Yep, I'll have to get Shane to head butt you. You coming up Sunday? Call me if you do. Guru and Kojak are coming today, that should be pretty.

Question- what was the tech on Butter for? PI said home cooking which sounds about right. Did he actually do or say something that I missed?

Butter ran out on the floor as a substitution before being acknowledged by the officials.

Can someone explain that call since I didn't see it? I know that is a rule but if it's a deadball situation it's a pretty lame (homer?) call.

He thought he had been let in the game and steped on the court as the ball was going live. No big deal and it was only called as a last effort by BE officials to give Syracuse one last chance. It almost worked.

As I agree that it was a homer call, there are no such thing as Big East officials in basketball. The referees work in different conferences in different games all the time. Tim Higgins is a regular at Halton Arena and was doing this game at the Carrier Dome and then today I saw him doing the Iowa-Louisville game.
