our last 60 games........

.......we are 31-30. Lutz has got to make some adjustments. The "jack a 3", disorganized, undisciplined style of play is wearing thin on me.

Demon Brown a freakin senior slapping a ball out of an opponents hand getting a T with 1 minute left. It lost the game for us.

we suck at free throws too

it just seems like we have no discipline at all.

 

Metro, I'm starting to feel the same way. I'm going to chalk this one up to being our first real game and hope Lutz and the team come together. Time will tell but it seems when I get the chance to see our team on TV and I watch any other team, we just don't look right for some reason. Time will tell I guess.

The Demon ordeal was right in front of me. It was a ticky-tack call but I understand the ref calling it. It wasn't a bad call. I just thought it should've been a double technical with the elbow thrown at Demon.

He's a SENIOR, bonehead moves are not allowed by someone with his experience.

Too many fouls called, especially the first 10 minutes. I know the games will loosen up as the season progresses, otherwise don't look to see the first halves of the second TV games! Almost 2-1/2 hours for a non-televised contest in regulation is crazy.

 

What concerns me is that 31-30 mark is with Lutz's players. He won with Watkin's players(eventhough I know he recruited them). Now that his guys are in we look like last night.

 

totally agree. lutz hasn't had a decent point guard and can't seem to recruit one. last one we had was colsen. Lutz loves the 3. we all knew that when he took the job. I don't ever see him changing. live by the 3 and die by the 3. that's his style.

 

If we have a losing record this year, time for a coaching change....sorry Lutz lovers

Demon was a ticking time bomb last night right from the start when the incident occured at half court. He started running his mouth then and never stopped all night. He made a point of trying to instigate GW players going into everytime out by bumping them and talking shit.

The personal foul late in the game was not a cheap call like someone posted earlier. It was a classic frustration foul. He punched the ball while a GW player was holding it after a defensive rebound. The tech was more for what he said than what he did but he deserved both calls. He had been warned earlier in the game and he should have known better.

I dont know if he is a smart kid or not but he is the stupidest basketball player I have ever watched.

 

Dont even start with that crap.
