How bad were they today? That pass interference on Howard late in the game was garbage and how many holding penalties did they miss? You can't tell me the first holding penalty was committed in the last minute of the game. Oh well, we won despite that crap.:D

True, but we would have gotten the ball back with two more tries. No way they stop him two more times.

They made the right call, the ball only has to touch the edge of the chalk nearest the 1 yard line.

Yep. The Cats won that game without any significant breaks going their way and 3 more turnovers and a few breaks going the Skids way. That's HUGE.)

I was at the game. The first interference call on the first drive looked like offensive interference to me. They called defensive. Similar play in the first half also they don't call anything? Inconsistant and just plain bad IMO.

I agree with ya Sly.....the Redskins got a lot of calls to go their way. How many penalties did they end up with? Maybe 2??

Davis' TD was a td. The ball broke the line......

The late call on Howard was, in fact, a poor one. He was looking back at the ball, meaning 1)he's playing the ball not the receiver, and 2) he's less apt to be able to sense the receiver's direction and location, which is the exact reason it's built into the PI call that if you're looking back, it's acceptible for there to be contact.

As well, one could easily rule uncatchable ball.

Overall, I thought they did an OK job. The game was a clean one, and while I disagreed with the Mitchell hold, it wasn't something to argue heartily either.
