    Packman discusses our A10 and says Bobby should move on with a good year ahead. Says name recognition is a big problem (ie) Cicy, Xavier Louisville, Dayton, Marquette , Richmond will not sell seats at Halton.

    Who really listens to that show anyhow?

    Seriously, I get so sick of their biased attitudes that I end up switching to another station. Hell, I discovered a GREAT FM station back in February because I was so sick of listening to their crap.

    Packer is a fat redneck that would be super-sizing happy meals if it were not for his daddy. His grasp of the english language is frightning considering he is an alleged college graduate.

    As much as we in the Queen City dislike Packer and the bumbling idiots he has on his show, they do control the sports community and what the perception of sports is in our city. His listeners worship him and take every word that comes out of his mouth as truth. 49er fans should not have a problem with him because he shows us love whenever possible. He loves Halton Arena and is a big coach Lutz fan, it is QCB and Hayseed that are always bashing us.

    i always tell my dad to defend the niners when he goes on there. yeah packman says some very VERY dumb things. i really dont get why they love ripping the niners

    Mark,
    your analysis that the A10 is bad for the 49ers will prove wrong. Its never hurt Xavier (spanks Cincy every year), Rhode Island, Temple, St Joes, or UMASS. Add Charlotte to that core and St Louis, and its a quality league. Of course its not the ACC, but it will be the 8/9 best RPI conference. The loss of Cincy, UL, and Marq will make the new CSUA the 11th or so best conference. Losing the Cincy rivalry may hurt, but apparently Lutz and Huggs have already agreed to continue the series OOC. And, Lutz is going nowhere, he is making 500k a year and just built a mansion in Harrisburg. He wants to stamp this program as his, and not leave for an extra 200k in some bottom feader ACC/SEC school. Do us a favor and quit "throwing us under your bus" every chance you get.

    I disagree with one part; the A10 will be the seventh best conference in all the land which is the current CUSA is now.
