Has anyone here had experience with DSL-Lite? The Prices are getting really cheap and I am wondering if it is worth a try. I cannont find much on the web conceriing its performance.

The problem for me is that I live about 2/3 mile off the road so my choices are extremely limited. I cannot get cable out here. Any suggestions?

    Move closer to the road

Or better yet, have RR installed by the street, and run some RJ-45 to the house.

I've got some category 5 cable running in the house with RJ45 connectors so that is a possibilty...too expensive for me right now though.

Hey, you do know Earthlink Cable (RR through Earthlink) is 29.99/month for 6 months with no commitment, free installation...

That would be quite acceptable. It's the expense of running cable through the woods or burying it down the drive to the road that I cannot bear.

I guess I ought to save up.
