They seem to be as talented as anybody. Three receivers that eclipse anything we have, a potential Pro Bowl QB, a very explosive RB. At a time, they at least had a very good defensive line, and they did rebuild it to the point where it shouldn't suck now.
I always thought Haslett and McCarthy to have been very good coaches.

They're 1-2, face a hot Indy team and then face us in Ericcson. I can't see them winning against Indy and that letdown, in primetime and at home, won't really push them over the hump against us. So they don't win again until Chicago, most likely. I can't see them breaking .500, and certainly 4th place is possible unless the Falcons really slide with/without Vick.

Does Haslett get canned this year?

    Who else would you fire?

Soft team. Talented, but young and inexperienced.

Haslett should go. I was thinking about this yesterday. He won with Ditka's players. Now he's losing with his pickings.

They still have a nice pass rush, but no discipline and a bad back 7.

And for all that talent, they aren't a very consistent O scoring. Lots of yards, but not getting it done in the red zone.

    Soft.

    Martz.

I love watching that guy lose. And then talk to the media.

    agree to both.
There are some really decent coaches amongst that group.
Martz? Might be controversial, but I think it comes down to wasting a ton of money on two players who aren't going to get it done.

    Callahan? McGinness?

I would have fired Martz after the game against Seattle. Take over on downs on Seat 41 with 3:00 and the lead. What does he do? Calls a freaking pass play and it gets intercepted. Sea then drives the field and wins.

Reminds me of Seifert calling that pass play against Washington that Arrington picked off.

I really hate the Rams. I hope Arizona beats them.

That, and Williams has the bye and I need emmit 'geritol' smith to rush for 120 and 2 TDs.

I agree with Martz. He has to be the most arrogant coach in the league. Even when his decisions have failed, he still thinks he was right. Letting Warner play when he knew he had a concussion was plain stupid.

McGinnis could be another one. He seems to have had his chance, but they haven't upgraded their talent much, which is on the front office.

I would almost think Wannstedt(sp) is on the hot seat. The Phins always seem to collapse at some point in the season and some of that has to be coaching.

the dolphins haven't been short on talent, arguably, since wannstedt took over. i can't believe he's still there. here's a point of conjecture; cowher and butch davis? neither have done much, honestly, in some time. also, sherman in cheese-town? just adding to the talk.

Cowher has been pretty consistent, considering the talent he seems to lose every year because they won't pay anybody. Davis doesn't have a lot to work with. Of course, a lot of their draft picks haven't panned out and that's on him. I think a lot of Green Bay's problems are lack of talent and Favre is getting old.
