Why the hell should the ACC care about schools outside of the conference?

Do you think other schools or conferences worry about what impact their decisions may have on the ACC? Of course they don't.

You may be the stupidest person on this whole board.

I think this is a good quote for many of you Whiner fans :

On your deathbed I doubt very many of you will say "I wish I had spent more time worrying about UNC and the ACC"

GET A LIFE PEOPLE - you guys look so damn pathetic it's disgusting

I'm afraid so. No football, no ACC! And even if you picked up football immediately, neither the ACC nor any other major conference would take a shot until a respectable problem would be established.

    school rankings

in response to VOR: according to princeton review of schools
miami has a ranking of 82 (out of 100 scale) academically UM
fsu has an 81 academically fsu
ND has a 92 academically notre dame
nc state has a ranking of 77 ncsu
    duke 99
    unc 88
    wake forest 93
    georgia tech 80
    clemson 77
    maryland 75
    virginia 93
    va tech 81
    uncc 76

i think there's a misconception that the football program at miami and the academic records of the football players is equivalent to the "regular" student standards/averages. as you can see, UM and FSU score better than 4 other ACC schools and ND would rank as 4th best.

pussa disagrees with me, thank god.

I have forgotten more about college athletics than you will ever know  . the reason the ACC should care what they are doing, is because expansion can ruin alot of other programs, particularly ours. The ACC is plenty profitable and they should leave well enough alone. So they make millions now, and their expansion will make more millions and leave the mid majors sucking hind tit. It can possibly ruin 3 Division 1 conferences. why do you think almost every national sports commentator has also bashed the ACC? now go back to humping your ram assclown. wtf is a wossa anyway?

I think letting Notre DAme play in three or four conference games a year is bullshit. If the Irish go 4-0, while Miami goes 7-1 in conference, do the Irish go to the BCS because they are "undefeated" in conference? I know the ACC will have a title game once they expand to 12, but what if ACC NOrth Notre DAme is 4-0 and the Terps are 8-0 without playing the IRish?

If the ACC lets Notre DAme in with some "you're the automatic division champ every year" clause, any ACC should be embarassed.

The Big 12 and SEc picked apart the SWC in the late nineties and early eighties. The Metro was also raided (Florida St., South Carolina).

Because they didn't like the way the conference went about expanding. Not because they expanded or who they added.

Why should the ACC be worried about non-member schools when inaction threatens ACC members?
