Don't call it a comeback. 12-4 last week, 20-12 on the year. For those of you looking for bets, don't look here, I'm picking winners here, but I might highlight a couple of spreads later on that might be worth laying down on. 15 and 15 vs the spread. Vegas earns their keep.

NY Jets at New England PATS

It's going to be a long, long year for Vinnie and the Jets. They got more problems that just their quarterback being hurt.

    Kansas City at Houston Chiefs

Might not be a blowout if Preist doesn't play (ribs). But the KC defense has 7 sacks in two games, they may double that next week.

Tampa Bay at Atlanta DIRTY BIRDS

Yep. I know. Tampa will be pissed and keyed in on Johnson. But I'm guessing Reeves knows this, and has last games tape. Look for a lot of T.J. and a lot of blitzing by the dirty birds.

    Pittsburgh at Cincinnati STEELERS

Steelers still explosive on offense, and the Bungles are still, well, the Bungles.

    Minnesota at Detroit Vikings

The Vikings have some momentum, and Harrington and Charles Rodgers are learning the difference between Zona and the rest of the league. I don't see the Lions containing the now balanced attack and strong offensive line of Minnesota.

    New Orleans at Tennessee Titans

I'll take a team that's coming home mad after getting spanked over the Saints.

    Jacksonville at Indianapolis COLTS

Colts look like a different team than recent years. Of course, so do the Gags, but not in a good way. Brunnell may get an early hook. And what's with JDR taking all our castoffs? Franklin got burned bad last week. Our 7th best corner in camp is their nickle.

    St. Louis at Seattle Rams

Bulger magic wins in a shootout. Take the over.

    NY Giants at Washington Giants

Giants, furious over their last second collapse vs Dallas, takes it out on Ramsey.

    Green Bay at Arizona Pack

Zona is someting like 16 million under the cap. You get what you pay for.

    Baltimore at San Diego Chargers

Two struggling quarterbacks, two youg teams. I'll take the Chargers because they are at home and desperate for a win, any win.

    Cleveland at San Francisco 9ers

Still not all that impressed with the 9ers, though Garcia seems to be holding up through the early going, despite missing a few series last week. But they have a weak early schedule.

    Buffalo at Miami Bills

It was Bledsoe's turn last week, this week Henry turns it on vs the Phish.

    Oakland at Denver Donkeys

Always a big game. Early word is that Portis and Plummer are fine after their thrashing of the Chargers. If Jake can avoid big mistakes and Portis is healthy, they can beat an Oakland team that has looked sloppy.

    WEEK 3 10-6 last week 20-12 overall

Jacksonville at Indianapolis, Indi : Too Much James, manning ect.
Kansas City at Houston, KC: With or Without Holmes.
Minnesota at Detroit, Minnesota: which Harrington showes up? doesnt matter
New Orleans at Tennessee, New Orleans: Tennessee is pretty banged up on the O-line and the Titans can be ran on.
N.Y. Jets at New England, New England: Jets have no answer
Pittsburgh at Cincinnati, Cinci: Shocker of the week rattles Cowher
Tampa Bay at Atlanta, Tampon Bay: Atlanta should be able to run though with TJ.
Green Bay at Arizona, Green Bay: Another bye week for Favre and Green
N.Y. Giants at Washington, Giants: They will play 60 minutes this week
St. Louis at Seattle, Seattle: Rams line sucks and Seattle will take advantage
Baltimore at San Diego, Baltimore: You think the Browns had a hard time with Jamal whew this could be a new record.
Cleveland at San Francisco, San Fran: The Holcomb watch is on
Buffalo at Miami, Miami: The easy pick is Buffalo, but I like Miami at home.

Oakland at Denver, Denver: Oakland continues it's spin and everyone wonders about Callahan.

    Over There ---->
Last week 11-5, 21-11 for the year
    ------------------
NY Jets vs New England Patriots
Patriots - Unless Curtis Martin decides to show up this year the Jets will be making an early pick in next years draft.

Kansas City Chiefs vs Houston Texans
Chiefs - I'm afraid to pick KC as the winner because last time I expected a team to beat up on the Texans they ended up losing... stupid DOlphins... anyways I'm still sticking to my gut and saying Chiefs.

Tampa Bay Bucaneers vs Atlanta Falcons
Bucs - I agree with Piper on everything except the final outcome. With the game footage Atlanta has on Tampa they should make the game closer, and if you have TJ Duckett in your fantasy league you'd damn well better start him, but the Falcons will have trouble when they are forced to pass against Tampa's front line. It's enough to give them the win.

    Pittsburgh Steelers vs Cincinnati Bengals
Steelers - Poor Bengals... hopefully they realize they're on the right track and will keep the faith until they gel. Until then they may fall all to pieces. Regardless the Steelers are a good team.

    Minnesota Vikings vs Detroit Lions
Vikings - Minnesota is on a roll... plain and simple, and they won't even slow down until they face a smashmouth defense.

New Orleans Saints vs Tennessee Titans
Titans - N.O.'s thin defense got even thinner, and the Titans are hungry.

    Jacksonville Jaguars vs Indianapolis Colts
Colts - The Colts showed the world that week 1 was a fluke and exploded last week. Expect more against a Jaguar team that's VERY close to putting in Leftwich.

St. Louis Rams vs Seattle Seahawks
Seahawks - This one is hard for me... I've been arguing over whether to take the Seahawks (who I like this year) or the Rams w/ Bulger (who I consider a better team than the Rams w/ Warner)... so I'm flipping a coin and saying the Seahawks. My gut call of the week.

    NY Giants vs Washington Redskins
Giants - New York's defense will show how to beat Skins. They're very similar to Carolina in their style of play and that threw a monkey wrench all into Spurrier's offense in the preseason.

Green Bay Packers vs Arizona Cardinals
Packers - Will Arizona win one game all year?

Baltimore Ravens vs San Diego Chargers
Ravens - The Ravens seem to be a little more solid than the Chargers this year, and until Boston can return to San Diego's lineup to help balance out a run/pass attack they are vunerable.

Cleveland Browns vs San Francisco 49ers
49ers - Browns just can't seem to pull ANYTHING together, and Jamal Lewis flat out embarassed them last week.

    Buffalo Bills vs Miami Dolphins
Bills - Best game this week period, but I'm standing behind the Bills till I see them faulter

    Oakland Raiders vs Denver Broncos
Broncos - Oakland needs Jerry Porter BAD.

    20-12

I'm also 20-12 after back to back 10-6 weeks.

NY Jets at New England (Pats - still too little Vinny)

Kansas City at Houston (Chiefs - with or without Holmes at 100%)

Tampa Bay at Atlanta (Tampa - better defense)

Pittsburgh at Cincinnati (Bengals - I'm going with an "any given Sunday upset special here - just feels good)

Minnesota at Detroit Vikings (I still think the true Viking will show and fold but not this week)

New Orleans at Tennessee (Titans - NO Orleans is the "Aints")

Jacksonville at Indianapolis (COLTS - I think Del Rio is starting panik mode with all the new signee's this week)

St. Louis at Seattle (Seahawks - agree with Piper its a shoot out but go with the hawks to make it interesting)

NY Giants at Washington (Giants - NFC East games you never no -so go with the team you hate least.)

Green Bay at Arizona (Packers - AZ could push for 0-16.)

Baltimore at San Diego (Baltimore - just a little more veteran leadership)

Cleveland at San Francisco (49ers - still avoiding Cleveland)

Buffalo at Miami (Bills - best team in football)

Oakland at Denver (Oakland - hate to bet on a BU QB., even if it is B-line)

I struggled by with a 9-7 record last weekend thanks to the very professional efforts of the NY Giants, Titans and Eagles  . I added my own expertise with Detroit and Cleveland :( . Turn another page in the book of mediocrity that is I.

Patriots over Jets (Big win for NE @ Philly spurs confidence)
Chiefs over Texans (KC too much of everything)
Bucs over Falcons (Gonna be tough though)
Steelers over Bengals (Pittsburgh rights the wrongs)
Vikings over Lions (Sota wins division game)
Titans over Saints (fool me once......)
Colts over Jags (Tony D gives Indy some D-fense)
Rams over Seahawks (Dont ask why)
    Skins over Giants (Why?)
Packers over Cards (GB just a better team)
Ravens over Bolts ( SD has the vaunted "swiss cheese defense")
Niners over Browns (I give up on Cleveland)
    Dolphins over Bills (Upset special)
Raiders over Broncos (Oakland wins division game)

Kansas City at Houston - KC, Larry Johnson maybe gets his shot?
    Minnesota at Detroit - Vikes
New Orleans at Tennessee - Titans
N.Y. Jets at New England - Pats - Time for Kevin Faulk to do something
Pittsburgh at Cincinnati - Steelers - Corey not 100% and maybe out
Tampa Bay at Atlanta - Bucs are pissed off enough to win it
Green Bay at Arizona - Packers in a laugher
N.Y. Giants at Washington - Skins - Spurrier's figuring it out
St. Louis at Seattle - Rams
Baltimore at San Diego - SD will focus on Lewis, but Ravens still win it
Cleveland at San Francisco - Niners
Buffalo at Miami - Whew - tuffy - I'm gonna take Buffalo, I think they're on a roll
Oakland at Denver - Broncos. Raiders haven't impressed me at all so far.
