Delhomme is the answer. He's been the answer for our two games! He's done his job well. What we need is some DB's that can do their job and not get burnt!

    y2b,

I don't care about Del's mistakes. No big deal to me. We won. He put us in a position to win.

My problem is that our DB's got burnt bad in both of our games. Our DB's always get burnt. ALWAYS!

You can only defend so long. Three and outs don't help. Interceptions and fumbles hurt more. Key is to make third down conversions and keep your team Defense off the field. The next key is to score TDs not FGs.

It's like this. Everybody has a job to do. Jake did his job. He put us in scoring position. We scored. The d-line did their job they stopped the run. Linebackers did their job. Special teams definately did their job. But the DB's drop a sure interception at the end of the game and they let a third string WR get way down field for a huge reception on the final drive and they didn't mark McCardell for the game tying touchdown.

Not to mention they were the reason we got down 14-0 in our first game.

I think a lot of people aren't on board yet. He has to develop. Its just so exciting to have a legitimate prospect.

agree. I'm not on board,so much, in that he's got a free pass. I'd certainly want to see us not keep having more rushing yards than passing yards, and the turnovers every game won't be acceptable.

Atlanta's D might be a tough challenge, so you don't expect a career game. But 200+ yards, and a competitive passing offense, isn't too much to ask. Especially with a week extra to gameplan, and in that week the Falcons play a team we just played. So relatively, there should be room to be successful. Luckily, the Falcs' strong point is the blitz, and Washington showed how to beat that in the second half this week.

To be honest I'd be perfectly happy if the panthers turn out to be one of those we should be those guys teams that seem to pull just enough together to win every week. Those teams are more fun to watch anyway.

I don't think my heart can take many more games like the past 2.

2-0. no matter how ya shake it, we are a much better team this year than last. no team's perfect. so quit bitching bout this and that and FOCUS on the positives ...
BE HAPPY. let the light in, dance and sing a little and give the dark side of ya mind a welcome rest.

Don't they play the 3-4 D? and don't we seem to have one heck of a time with that? and haven't they had our number for some time. this is definately one win that i ain't gonna be cryin after just cuz it weren't pretty. i don't like the bucs (mainly cuz they are a bitch of a good team ... the cheapshots just added lots of fuel) but i have always hated ATL (even when i was in Houston). one of my happiest days was when the Falcons hired Glanville. talk about wishing something on your worst enemy.
