    Unfortunately I may not be in town the week of the event. I will know probably next week if I will be able to play and if so then we will come up with an interesting side bet.

    I'm sure Lefty will be upset if I cannot make it but he will be so busy sticking his head up peoples asses that he may not notice.

    I will tell you that I was a member at Rocky River for two years and know every inch of that course so if we play, the 7 shot record margin from last year could be in jeopardy.

    of course, I am not serious. I don't even know the format. I assume captn choice. One guy on our team can play in the upper 70's frequently.

    Who else on the board is playing in this event?

    Like last year, I think it has been poorly advertised. Other than a post on the boards, I have not heard or read anything about it. I played in it last year and didn't even get anything in the mail about it this year.

    Last year I talked to several alum that would have liked to play but never heard anything about it. That is not getting it done.

    I played last year and got a notice in the mail this year. It is always fun and I look forward to it. I also like the noon start.

    I played the last four years and I got a card in the mail inviting me to play in it again this year. I Know the Alumni Association Office was going to send a "blast e-mail" to a Young Alumni Group list. I assume that was sent, but I am not a Young Alum. I am, however, willing to learn.

    If anyone's interested, they can call the Alumni Office (704-687-2273) and it's on their website (www.uncc49er.net).
    Glad to see one of our major Corporate Partners is on board, too. TIAA-CREF is a great financial supporter.
