OT: Alumni Cruise on Lake Norman

The Lake Norman Alumni Chapter and UNC Charlotte Young Alumni invite all Niner alumni and guests to:

3rd Annual Alumni Sunset Cruise on Lake Norman

It's on Friday, September 12th from 6:30 - 10:00 p.m. Singles and couples welcome (there will be a lot of both there). You get:

- 3 hour cruise on Lake Norman with fellow alumni and friends

- All the cold draft beer and new Margarita Ice (basically, margaritas in a keg) you can drink, courtesy of Carolina Blonde

- Wine and softdrinks (included, of course)

- Hors d'oevres provided by the Rusty Rudder

- Prizes and giveaways, courtesy of the UNC Charlotte Alumni Association

- loud music


All this for only $35/person.

Plus, everyone is welcome to party afterward at the Rusty Rudder, featuring live music overlooking lake Norman.

But "older, single alums" don't fit that mix on this ocean voyage Norman...

 

HP - there are alot of singles that go on the cruise......ever since we put the "singles and couples welcome" on the flyer. There were a lot of girls (older and younger) that called the alumni office last year wondering if there would be any single guys on the cruise. Last year the single girls far outnumbered the single guys there.

It's a good time. And the boat is setup where everyone usually meets everyone there. There always seems to be a good amount of Niner b-ball talk in the early hours as well.
