i had it for 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000 and 2001. last season was my first without because of the move.

now that we're all settled in at the house, it's time. the installer comes friday. for about $250, you can get the system hardware and installation, plus all the nfl games, plus four months of the top programming package (minus the adult channels). you have to agree to a 1-year (really 8 months, after the four free months) subscription to at least one of their programming packages -- the cheapest is $33.99/month. it's 115 channels -- pretty stout.

i'm happy!!!!!!! it'll be ready to go for the opener.

I think that the preseason games (all, such as Atl. vs. somebody; Balt. vs. somebody; etc.) have been on the ticket.

It's really cool. I hope that we can win many games for the out of market Panther fans that have to rely on the Sunday ticket to watch the games.

Hockeygirl's cousin just got it out here, so if he can figure out how to tape off his dish, maybe I'll get to see the Panther games this year!

all games will be broadcast in hi def this year...it is tempting to go and upgrade to HD DirectTV..but those receivers cost a good chunk of change and you need a new dish...plus no Tivo.

they also have "enhanced" channels this year for a couple of games every weekend...

Next year. When we're in the house.

Til then it's a steady diet of the Ravens, Skins, the national game, or the sports bar.

You and me kshead. We ought to meet in DC for the Skins game though. Anyone else in NOVA/Maryland? I need a good sports bar near Dullus.
