    I like Butter. A lot. He's a good kid.
    Before he was "broken down", he was considered a quality player who was peaking.
    Lest we forget, he averaged 10.5 points and 5 rebounds in the league as a sophomore and had his three best scoring games of his then-young career against DePaul, Marquette and South Florida (I think). Plus, in a game we'd all like to forget, he was the NCAA/CBS Player of the Game for the 49ers against Notre Dame, too. In other words, all was looking up. But guess who was playing the same position? Eddie, Vincent and Butter. What does that tell you? His move to straight Power Forward limited Curtis Withers, too.

    I wish he had never left. Maybe he didn't. Maybe he won't. He's the one guy we had last year who could break down his guy off the dribble. Imagine what he would be like if he was counted on. Again.

    I knew Metro in school

    And he was the same loudmouth when I knew him in school. He was alwas talking about how great he was and who he knew. You get used to it after a bit.

    Ask him about "that party" at Chi Phi and see if he does not tell you to shut up...

    Like I said before, sit him down there with Burge and Howard. Maybe we'll sympathize and let him play against APP when we have a twenty point lead with two minutes left to play?

    Real or Grad? What other players quit last year? I saw Tory the week of spring finals in the library. I also saw Tyler Best all the way through the end of the semester.

    Anybody know if Nash graduated?:roflmao:

    Seriously, Lefty you raved about Grier forever. "Best pick up player ever in the MIneshaft". YOu quoted Lutz on that one forever. YOu never said anything bad about Vincent, then all of a sudden he's leaving and you talk about his mental awareness. That's shitty in my book.

    lefty, nobody has threatened you except to expose you to tone you down. my point is that my id is known. that also limits me to what I can say. so if i get info, I can't go blab it on the internet unless I have permission. when your real id is known, you have to be more cautious on things. your name may have been called at a Cincy game for a contest, but they didn't say "this is Lefty and his name is ###d #####n." it gets old when you post rolling eyes at me when I am playing by another set of rules. if you wanna brag about what you know, then we/I can give up your name then you would be a little more cautious and understand where I am coming from.

    you do not come here to spread 49er news, you are coming here to be trouble, but again, I wish you wouldn't and lets talk sports. Pretty much everyone is upset with your Greir bashing, who's just a kid.
