Anybody unhappy with Vincent Grier?

    The kid has probably practiced a million jumpers in his life. IF he ain't got it yet, he probably never will. On the other hand, he does everything else great. He needs to play to his strengths. Him and Baldwin were the only guys that actually disrupted our opponents on defense last year. Withers actually made the other guy work hard, but he still has room for improvement on defense.

    since Lefty and Na hate Greir so much, he just became my favorite player. The two posters at the other site with the least sports knowledge are the most outspoken. They wouldn't know an athlete if one punched them in the nose.

    Lefty has orgasms over Plav but how many points is he gonna give up on D?

    Vince Greir will alone keep 10 points off the opponents scoreboard.

    Holyshit!!!! Lefty just said something negative about a Niner player!!! It was stupid but damn!!! Go ahead Lefty let it all hang out my man!!! Doesn't that feel good!!!? Somebody might want to have Campus Sports mail Satan a Niner sweatshirt, hell just froze over!!! Holyshit!!! I might win the lottery after all!!!

    they're hating on V Grier like he plays for Memphis on the other board.

    NA and Lefty talk about him not having the heart and head to be good. I guess they know the guy personally or have seen him exiting Brocker w/ a bottle of prozac or something. these guys kill me who think they know so much about the players. they obviously don't know a thing about talent. they'll see.

    going to watch vg tonight in that summer league...

    Like MK said, I'm not knocking his talent. The guy can play, no doubt about it.

    Grier is one of the few guys coming back that showed enough promise for me to write another check this year. He doesnt have to be a superstar, if he can get us 10 points, a few rebounds and raise hell on defense, he will always have minutes at this school.

    We cant expect every player to be Henry Williams. Guys like VG that learn their roles win games. I always say put you five best athletes on the floor, no matter what it takes and he is certainly on of the 5 best athletes we have.

    Those of you banking the future of this team on a guy like Plavich may be the ones disappointed this season.

    LEfty, you are claiming Vincent doesn't have the head or heart to be a big star. Why do you think that? Is there stuff we don't see during the games?
