Judy and Woodward.........

I have been outspoken critics of both and have not appreciated their vagueness in regards to where the 49ers end up conference-wise, but I did find out something about their strategy, which makes sense. Judy cannot go public with what the plans are for us because Woodward is chair of the CUSA presidents, and she has to look loyal to CUSA because of that. So don't look for her to come out and say "we are talking to the "fill in the blank" conference" because it would make Woodward look bad as chair.

Are you just now finding this out? Woodward has chaired the C-USA board for a couple of years now.

The real reason for the silence is that the AD's of the BE & CUSA made a pact to keep things quiet, unlike the ACC. Not that this means much. The info always gets out.

Also, they agreed to go through the conf commissioner when looking to add a new team. Let's hope the discussions are going well.

 

Lefty, I knew he was chair of that board, but had never really thought about that steering what Judy says here in Charlotte to the press. I was just making a point, no need for your sarcasm, Pom Pom Boy. I am glad you know everthing, keep us informed.
