I'm not hiding at all. I'm not a huge 49er fan except I do keep up with them. I read the boards at the old charlotte.com and then cusatalk. i got so sick of reading your pompous crap I decided to register and have a little fun. But you, you little twirp, apparently couldn't handle it. Next thing I know i've got an email saying I'm banned because I was only there to cause trouble. Not true, I was there to give you hell nothing more.

Just thought I'd join up here so everyone knew what a jack ass and what a whiny little girl puss you are.

all of those names are familiar to me. they love the 49ers and i want to give an outlet to those that are passionate about something.

all i ask is that the 49ers join in the talk in the other forums here when they can.

we'll get this thing started -- and i see that we've already got a half-dozen or so threads to put over there to get it rolling.

Re: An open letter to jcl49er

HP, first of all, thanks for the reply.

Second, I would never take away from anything you or anyone else contributed to the site. You added a lot, both text and photo, to cusa-talk and that's part of the reason why we even exist. Posters on messageboards are like fans at a sporting event. They're what makes it all happen so I'm appreciative for you and the other folks who have contributed since the inception of our site. I have suggested you had nothing to contribute because I always felt just the opposite. I've been very thankful for all the photos you've taken and posted on the site for the fans to enjoy.

My issue is your choice of words in that I "gave my blessing" for the invasion to take place. I never okayed it, nor did I support it. I don't want to be redundant but I only made a joking comment about an invasion after we had exchanged a few words about Memphis fans. I stated I didn't want it to happen because I feared it spilling over into the other forums. If that's "involvement" by your definition, then so be it but I do not feel I played a part other than not alerting the other Admins that it could possibly happen, which I regret. Me simply being "upset at the Memphis fans" is a far cry from actually carrying out the act of or orchestrating an invasion of Mac's site. The majority of the Charlotte posters have been upset at the Memphis fans but that doesn't make them any more guilty in what happened.

My reputation will be fine I suspect because the majority of the people at cusa-talk know I've been with the site from the very beginning, even as a beta tester for the software when Mac first made the new transition. They know I would never purposely do anything to cause friction on the site. I just felt the need to defend myself a little since the issue was being discussed in another environment.

Once again, I have no beef with you and never have. I respect your wish to be done commenting on this situation but I did want to at least reply to your open letter.

    Regards,
    jcl
