I love baseball and love to watch it played by men who care about the game. I grew up on it just like any kid back in my days and never passed an open straw field that I didn't look at and imagine what a lawnmower could do to it. We never had to plan a game. there was just something in the air on a spring saturday morning that made you wake up, grab the glove and get on your bike and ride till you seen another kid throwing a ball up in the air. Within an hour there would be enough to play. And we played and played.:)

retired - Nolan Ryan, Dale Murphy, Andre Dawson. Ryan wasn't on my list until he whipped Robin Ventura's bitch ass.

current - Jim Thome, he was real nice to me as a kid when he played for the Knights. I'm also a Kerry Wood backer.

Never had the pleasure of watching Jackie Jensen play in a game but I have seen him on Home Run Derby and he has a very sweet swing. I was watching on TV when Bobby Richardson was at the plate, bottom of ninth, bases loaded, 3-2 count, World Series and he ripped one out . :) Bobby was to second base what Brooks (the human vacumn cleaner)Robinson was to third.

    • Mike Schmidt - Best all around third baseman ever
    • Steve Carlton - Most strikeouts by any lefthander and the nastiest slider
    • Bob Gibson - Scariest pitcher on the mound
    • Lenny Dykstra and John Kruk - Old school ball players

    Current

    • A-Rod - All around best
