    Hell the game is secondary to all the hob knobbing by sponsers and league officials. The real problem is a lack of quality strip joints

    good call, PP. It boils down to hot chicks in bikinis. ain't no miller lite wrestlin women with nice knockers going to replay their commercial when it is remotely possible that the temp would be below 50 and ice or snow covers the ground.

    Super Bowl Week Players Itinerary

    Monday- arrive in clt. visit charlotte coleseum on way to park hotel.
    tuesday- practice/interviews a.m. carowinds opens just special for players and families. christian concert at 7pm in the pavilion.
    wednesday- practice/interviews a.m. charter buses to gaffney peach and surrounding outlet village. open bar at coyote joes.
    thursday-practice/interviews a.m. van rides around lowes motor speedway. dinner with humpy. shuttles to and from 4th turn parking lot to bass pro shop entrance.
    friday-interview/practice a.m. super bowl parade from marshall park to stadium. bar charlotte bar crawl.
    saturday- south end trolley ride.

    Actually the last SB in Tampa did get too much activity at the Mons and the others. Maybe the 6 ft rule had something to do with it.

    A super Bowl will never happen. Why not let every city host a pro bowl?

    2005...no other city competed against them. They hosted one back a while...the year the bungels got beat by the niners.

    The NFL is talking about bringing the game to a cold city...the article I read (no link, I'm relying on memory) mentioned New York and Washington DC....I think there was a sympathy factor due to the terrorist attacks.

    IMO, Chicago would be a good place to if you were looking for a cold city.

    1967, I believe. Dallas vs. Green Bay @ Lambeau field. (this is the game that bore the phrase "frozen tundra") But if memory serves, that was the NFL (old NFC) championship game, not the Super Bowl. Could be wrong on that one, though.

    Damn Dukie thats profound. NYC is what 6 million people and Charlotte is what at best 1 mil if you count all of Mech. county?
