2025 NFL Draft

I think that by the time the draft rolls around our defense will be much, much better, at least on paper. Derrick Brown will be back, they may bring back Shaq, but I expect an overhaul at Safety and it wouldn't surprise me a bit if Shy Tuttle was a June 1 cut, with his replacement already signed in Free Agency.

on the right team he's still a playoff level QB, not likely to make the super bowl. He's got a lot of baggage and anyone that takes him has to sell him on changing some deeply ingrained habits and not bringing his friends (players and coaches) along. We all love to shit on Mike Mccarthy now but he actually got Farve on board with this when he arrived in Green Bay and that was on Brett's 'home turf'

So who has a good to great defense, good weapons, a tough coach that can win him over, and on opening at QB? pittsburgh, maybe Seattle, and if JJ Mcarthy has problems Minnesota.

I'm guessing he does the matt ryan thing and says he's keeping his options open before finding a media career somewhere. Or maybe he goes full Jake Plummer.

Yeah, he will probably sign on somewhere, but I was thinking about the Jets and the draft. Will this cause them to take someone at 7 we didn't expect

 

Obviously the Jets need a quarterback no matter what Rodgers does, he's out of there one way or another in the next year or so. But there won't be a quarterback worth drafting at seven when they are on the clock. They need help on the Edge and a decent DT to pair with Quinnen Williams. They also have a need at Right Tackle, but the answer there may be on the roster already. Another wild card need is at Safety, and they could always use another receiver.

I don't know what they will end up doing with Rodgers, but it isn't likely to affect their draft strategy in the first round.

 

If Sheduer Sanders is there at 7, will Jets pass on him?

 

They'd probably be better off going with OL or T Mc.

 

We might be in no mans land at 8

 

So if Will Campbell is there at 8, what is the plan?

Trade down with Chicago? Flipping 41 and 57 in the 2nd?
