So they couldn't find anyone who would work under him.

Cowboys concluded a second interview with offensive coordinator Brian Schottenheimer on Wednesday.

Yeah, which was completely foreseeable to everyone except the owner.

I was a big B_Schott proponent at one point - I think during Foxy's lame duck season. He's become an afterthought ever since, but I'd still like to see how he'd do in the Captain's chair.

And after they interviewed the good candidates. Khan just looks incompetent here.

    Youre in luck

Look for the Cowboys to cross the finish line on hiring Brian Schottenheimer no later than Friday, possibly today

Apparently Ben Johnson and Liam Coan's disapproval of Baalke was the final straw.

Khan is shitty for almost the opposite reasons Tepper is shitty. He's insulated and hands off to a fault, and this is why an owner "getting out of the way" isn't good enough by itself. There still has to be a vision set from the top, and the owner has to be football savvy enough to hold people accountable. Not having this balance leaves you vulnerable to hiring people like Trent Baalke - a backstabbing cunt who was allowed to run rough shot through five different coaches on two different teams
