Easier said than done. How are they going to know if the "good game manager" will actually be able to manage a game?

It's a good thing they spent a ton on guards so he has no where to move to

I could care less...build from the front to the back. This "draft a QB #1" mentality is the recipe for failure, which has been proven by teams like the Jets and Commanders for decades.

Pray Tepper gets tired of the humiliation and sells the team, and the next owner isn't just another insane narcissist.

Go 2/2 on those two prayers, and we might have a shot.

The Jets are starting 40 year old Rodgers and Jayden Daniels looks pretty damn good for the Skins.

Yeah, they finally figured it out (Jets) or got lucky (Commanders). Point being traditionally bad teams have a clear MO. Draft a young stud, flavor of the day and surround him with the overpaid and under talented ...and expect a ring.

Even Stroud and Caleb Williams seem above average. The Panthers just made the wrong choice(again). The jury still out on Ickey, Horn is hurt more than not, Derrick Brown and Brian Burns are looking to be the best latest draft choices.
The loud for Stroud crowd can wear the "I told you so" bling for a while longer.
Striking gold on a QB seems to be a much easier option than getting a 85 Bears' or a Ray Lewis led Ravens defense.

I'm actually getting strong Bryce Young vibes from Williams. He looks lost so far and the Bears aren't doing him any favors with a crappy looking scheme and O line.

The Patriots are the only team handling their rookie QB properly. The lust for playing these guys right away usually does long term damage.

Kind of like a rich woman with an expensive new necklace. They can't help not wanting to wear it and showing it off. I can see where teams using a number 1,2,3 QB draft pick want to stroke their ego and show off their brilliance. Most likely to the detriment of the player.
