    Few things:

I like CMC but he has a terrible track record of yards after tackle. That is very concerning for me at 8, when we could've built the lines with Jon Allen. I'm in shock we didn't take him, and that would've made my fucking day.

I know we need offense and need to supply Cam with weapons, but Gettleman brags about NOT trading down when we had offers? This is why we're not a very good team. No creative energy in the draft room, never a trade down, only wasteful trade ups so he can leave and not be there anymore.

You look at our history of trade ups with Gettleman and it's awful. The players have been trash. His drafts have been average at BEST. The guy is an idiot.

What happened with building through our lines?

The NFCS is having a great draft - McKinnley is a Panthers fan and he's gonna tear us up....The Saints got the best at two positions, middle and late...wtf...and the Bucs just improved massively.

At this point Im fine with trading up for Cam Robinson because we need strength on the lines or Cam is dead. We're forced to give up so many good players because we ignore the OL. Fucking pitiful.

    40.

Rumors are that we're trying to trade up to 33, Im assuming to get Cam Robinson, whom several teams had a 1st round grade on. I think I'll be ok with that, only because I feel now we have to because of the featherweight pick. Fucking A man...God almighty I'm still pissed.

If we do not, we do have a few attractive options that could fall to us.

Some solid names still on board:

WRs- Zay Jones, Malachi Dupre, Curtis Samuel, Godwin kid,,,

    TEs- Everett, Leggett, Butt...

There's Cam Robinson of course, which will not fall to 40 - Moton and Garcia...

Feeney and Lamp, if we have someone we believe we can move outside, which I know we dont...

Carl Lawson? The Basham kid? There's damn sure Malik McDowell, but ANOTHER DT? Jordan Willis?

Brantly won't be looked at even tho it was a bullshit accusation...Zach Cunningham? Would Gettleman pull that trigger? What about Tim Williams as an edge rusher? That might be awesome...

There's Sydney Jones, Teez Tabor, the Awuzie guy, Fabian Moreau, Budda Baker who could be great here, the King kid from Washington I think...Of course Evans, Melifonwu...

I guess if we let the board come to us, it looks like Melifonwu would be the screaming choice, unless we go edge rusher....might be the better value.

Or, we're just gonna give up the rest of the day for Robinson, and Gettleman can go eat and go home.

Cleveland will get love because they had three picks but Jabril Peppers was a poor choice in my opinion. He's a project at safety and isn't strong or physical enough to play linebacker in the NFL. Things could not have gone any better for San Francisco, who got two of the top ten players in the draft while also picking up additional selections. New Orleans also did extremely well by getting the best corner and the best offensive lineman. As much as I didn't want O.J. Howard here at #8, him falling to Tampa is concerning.

Cam Robinson falling to #40 would make me very happy because he would immediately address our issues at right tackle.

Ron Rivera on CMC: For the most part he'll start off as a punt returner.

    .....at 8.

    Yeah.

Lamp can play tackle. The only reason people are projecting him to guard is short arms. His agility and footwork are good enough to be a LT in the NFL. I expect Green Bay to make him the first pick of the second round, though.

So did Steve Smith, and McCaffrey has some of that in him. Granted, Smith was a third instead of #8. But don't read too much into that, as Stewart was going to remain the starter even if we took Fournette. McCaffrey will get ~10 carries per game.

I see them using JP like Shaq Thompson. Excellent run defender, good size, and the ability to cover in the passing game.

Not a great choice. Not a bad one. I really thought they were going QB or Ruben Foster.
